DMU Reviewer

DMU Reviewer is a brand new software product developed by Open Cascade for both professionals (engineers, architects, constructors, etc.) and users with no or little CAD experience. Whether you are designing a new product, managing manufacturing processes, maintaining industrial facility or doing quality control, having 3D visualization at hand with an ability to measure, analyze, comment on and share data with other team members is crucial.

In this scenario, Open Cascade delivers a powerful yet easy-to-use collaborative software solution for exploring and visualization of large digital mock-ups – DMU Reviewer. The solution provides quick design review opportunities to all stakeholders (engineering, manufacturing, quality control, etc.) by eliminating the need for original CAD system or software integration with PLM what is generally too expensive. Moreover, DMU Reviewer does not require any specific learning, its intuitive user interface allows even non-engineers to collaborate on 3D assemblies and large-scale scenes.

The solution comes with a robust feature set for visualization, 3D models navigation, geometric measurements and analysis.

With DMU Reviewer you can

- Mesh file formats: OBJ, STL, PLY, FBX, VTK_XML, CGR,

- Finite Element Mesh (FEM) file formats: Nastran,

DMU Reviewer loads STEP AP 242 files with impressive speed and is able to read related PMI (B-REP, GD&T, annotations, views). This information is available in DMU Reviewer under PMI tree and is displayed in the scene.
