Varying versions of tcl

Question:
Why does Open CAS.CADE use different versions of tcl on different platforms?   It seems that it would make sense to use the same version on all platforms, and I can't find a pre-compiled tcl7.5 for the SGI.   Any ideas?

We have planned to do that with tcl 8.2 Reagards
