OPEN CASCADE provides a set of components (SDKs) dedicated to data exchange between applications based on Open CASCADE Technology and third-party CAD systems.
Data exchange interfaces are particularly interesting for industrial users working in environments that require interoperability between different types of software. Software editors looking to provide a broader access to their applications can also benefit from this kind of functionality.
OPEN CASCADE data exchange interfaces can translate geometrical data (BRep or mesh, depending on the format), as well as the assembly structure and some attributes (names, colors, layers and others).
